ESOP Allocation
Dear Friends,
We are drawing up a ESOP plan and would like to draw up a policy for the same. With regard to this, I would like to know what sort of policy/ procedure you follow for allocating ESOPs. Can you pls answer these queries for me. 1) How do you allocate the ESOPs to the employees? Do you allocate on the day they join or during certain period? 2) What is the allocation based on? 3) Do you allocate additional ESOPs to the old employees annually? IF yes, what is the basis for such allocation? (Performance, yrs of service, criticality of the individual?) 4) Is the additional allocation based on performance. If so how..is it based on inputs derived from the appraisal process or how else? 4) If it is based on performance, do you have a matix drawn up that gives a picture of for what performance level what nos ESOPs) you allocate?
