HR for Line Managers

Dear colleagues, 
 
I am to conduct a program on 'HR for line  managers',while i am preparing my  topic I wanted to seek help on what all anyone of u cover in such program.  May i look forward to some help wherein u share your  presentation material  on the topic.

Hi Penelope,

I work for a large Power Company.. We conduct program for HR for line mnanagers on regular basis as part of our commitment to build strong interface of HR with line managers and also to develop line managers as HRD managers who also take active interest for development of their people.

We generally get the program done thu external help/professional trainers.. on the basis of the template developed mutually depending on our requirement and thrust. We generally cover the following broad aspects:-

HRD Concepts, HR systems and its interface with Line functions

Systems/mechanism to develop strong realtionship between line and HR

Role of line managers and their need for being an HRD manager also for better productivity and organisational effectiveness.

Change management

Communication : the tool of building teams & managing change

Performance councelling, coaching and feedback giving skills

Individual advantage & Organisational gains
