Training Effectiveness Analysis
Hello,
I'm a trainer with one of India's leading training organizations. Most of the training we do pertains to accent neutralization/enhancement and customer service. These modules usually last for 4-6 weeks, after which the trainees go through process training imparted by their employers. The process training lasts for about 4 weeks. It is only after this that the trainees hit the floor (start taking/making calls). We are working on a training effectiveness analysis program, where the aim is to: 1. know how effective the training has been in terms of on-the-job utility 2. quantify retention of learning during training after they are on the job (with respect to lapse of time between training and hitting the floor) 3. identifying areas of concern and recommending solutions. Are there any documented/time-tested procedures to go about this kind of an analysis? Further, would anyone in the group have worked on a similar analysis, so that we can share learnings? The analysis program is in a nascent stage. I look forward to suggestions to make it more meaningful and effective. Thank you, senthil
