Soft skills through digital medium

HI!

I would like to do some research on soft skills, specifically, "How effectively soft skills can be delivered through the digital (off line) medium to students in Undergraduate and Post graduate colleges"

I have developed a digital course on soft skills. I faced several problems while doing it. For instance:

1. How do you build in interactivitiy?

2. Since there is no rigid 'correct and incorrect' answer to a soft skills related problem, how do you check the variety of answers a student might come up with?

3. What is the most effective way of delivering soft skills (edcucational design) through the digital medium?

4. What are the soft skills that SHOULD be taught to UG and PG students?

I need guidance in doing this research - from doing review of literature to data collection and analysis.

Re: Soft skills through digital medium

You will have to use a Multimedia presentation to get this across to your participants. Retention however is going to be low. A personal interaction in my opinion will give you much better results for soft skills traning.

Re: Soft skills through digital medium

Hi,

I totally agree with Gunjan. Soft skills trainign will definitely be more effective when you have one to one interaction. However, online case studies which might inspire students to act according to the scenario can be uploaded. Also soft skills for UG/PG students could be like "Communication skills", "EQ", etc...
