Training Evaluation

Dear all,

I am trying to make training evaluation for the third phase that is behaviour (base on kirk patrick). But I don’t know yet how to make it step by step and how to make the form ( I need the samples). I need your help to finish my assignment. I am a student of Psychology program (Majoring Organizational n Industrial Psychology).

Best regard,

p rao

Re: Training Evaluation

I have done work on evaluating training at the 3rd level using the Kirkpatrick model. I could help you out. However, I would need to know more about what is the behaviour you are trying to measure and what is the training program that you are doing the effectiveness study for. Also if you could give a background of the study, it would help.

Otherwise, any sample form for the evaluation that I might send across could be misleading.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Re: Training Evaluation

There are many models of Training Evaluation. However, I have found the Kirkpatrick model very useful because of its applicability. It is very relevant to a factory training for shopfloor workmen.

Re: Training Evaluation

Mr. Rao,

During the 3rd phase (behaviour/performance) of kirk patrick model, you can provide an action implementation aid to measure the performance contains Action Plan, How to implement & when to implement. After three months (approx) the reporting officer of the employee can measure the business impact of training measuring daily work, productivity, qulity, cost etc of the employee for knowing how much the training program influenced the employee. HODs can do the post training monitoring quarter wise. Of course the methodology may vary for behavioural & technical training.

Best Ragards,

Sameera C
