I need some inputs regarding the Redeployment of Manpower.

We are a manufacturing concern having approximately 127 workmen.

The company has decided to shift a particular division of the Plant to some other location. Now this shifting would mean that the 54 workmen employed in that division have to be redeployed in the other departments of our plant.

This has lead to uncertainty among the workmen regarding their jobs and also there were some IR problems in the recent past.

How should we go about redeploying these people and what are the HR Issues that we should take care of in this project in terms of Job Descriptions, Training etc.
